Google’s latest update to mobile phone internet has already had great reviews having not been out long. The new feature called “near me now” has had great reviews so far and anticipated to take off in the US. This application can be found on 2 phones at the moment, the iPhone and the Android phones. Currently this feature can only be found in USA, depending on its success Google will roll this out over the UK and Europe.
What “near me now” does?
“Near me now” is a new application produced by Google allowing users to search Google and find listing in their immediate location, with a click of button. For example you could click “near me now” and search for restaurant reviews and this will give you reviews of your local restaurants. This will also let you know where ATM’s are Bars, Night Clubs, Restaurants, Pubs and anything else you need in your immediate vicinity.
How It Work’s?
The “near me now” application is very easy to use, all you need to do is go to the Google home page on your smart phone and click the “near my now” button to activate this, you can search by category to find exactly what you need. It is very easy to transfer back to the “normal” search listings so this makes the experience easier for a user.
Overview
Having read reviews about this application it is found to be very useful to have. We all hope that this will be rolled out to the UK and Europe soon but I suspect by the time we do get the use of this application our cousins across water will have new technology to get their teeth into.
