In an interview in America, Apple CEO Tim Cook was apparently very guarded regarding developments between the two conglomerates, Facebook and Apple. However there were a few ‘breadcrumbs’ for Apple speculators to follow.
On the subject of Facebook and developments, Cook reassured that the relationship between the two is “very solid” and that Apple could do a lot more with the company. Following the speculation, many people were quick to jump on the idea that this meant deeper links with Facebook in the next update of iOS 6.
Strengthening the bond between the companies could potentially lead to Apple finally rid themselves of Ping, their own social network that became a flop as quick as it launched.
There was also strong hints throughout the interview that Siri would be receiving some strong enhancements, and in the near future. Explaining the success of the software, Cook revealed that the clear signs of people interacting with their phone in a new and different way enabled them to increase the potentially in and extraordinary manner.
Of course the subject of an Aple TV was quickly diverted. But Cook did leave the interview in conclusion of the great impact that Steve Jobs had on his thinking, and career as a whole.
